I have had my male veil for about a week now. He is finally getting nicely settled in. He is eating well, drinking well, and has eaten meal worms out of my hand two days in a row....everything is looking good....except for today I see him closing his right eye for about 10 seconds at a time every couple of minutes. The it just opens back up and resumes scanning the cage. While the right eye is closed, his left remains open and scanning. I know they are not supposed to close their eyes at all during the day.
Any ideas, suggestions?
