abnormality?

artbilly Aug 19, 2007 05:59 AM

i purchased this ball python female, and her head looks pretty awkward to me, she is a black back female ringer. She is a totally cool snake, but her head looks kinda like she has an overbite of some sort, i thought it was cause she was growing maybe, but its been about two months, and she still looks funny. All of my other pythons look normal, she doesn't. she eats fine and all, real good eating response, i am wondering this happens from "line breeding" or something, and maybe if she might not be a good candidate for breeding. What do you guys think?

having the balls to try something, and having the balls to do anything, are two separate things!

Do you have pictures? Her jaw has been like that since you got her? Derek

if shes eating fine you have nothing to worry about, if you worried she could be inbred go ahead and breed her but dont breed her to a ball thats even closely related, a normal (maybe even wc would be the best for putting fresh blood in her line.
