Please take no offense, but I am sure you will.

There are many levels of husbandry and many levels of monitors that fit these different levels of husbandry.

Unfortunately monitors are a complex social creature, which means they are not a good species to keep from a caresheet. All of them.

Some of them are much more complex that others. And some are more dangerous then others. In that, lacies are without question a species you should be passed the need of a caresheet to understand. Its important that you understand this, its about not injurying yourself or the monitor. If your inexperienced and you have a male healthy Lacie, your going to get injured. Hmmmmmmm Even if your experienced it can happen. So Keeping such species as varius or salvadorii, and the like is not for caresheet readers.

Please take the time to educate yourself with less imposing species. And lastly don't tell me you have, because if you have, you would not of asked that question.

'Imposing' - that little thing?

Hi Mike, they go for the throat dude. Its not widely known, but that little fella has a flexible tooth, it pierces the neck and wraps around the jular and slice, curtains man. As they grew up and gain strenght, they lose that tooth. As they are then better capable to protect themselves. Cheers
