Strange sound from my corn

sgriscom Aug 20, 2003 11:42 AM

Just the other day I heard him make a small high-pitched sound about every minute or so. He would just be laying around my neck perfectly still and you would hear this sound. Do you know anything about this? I hope it is a sign of being very content, like a purr from a cat. Could this be some sort of respiratory problem. I keep him in a 20 gallon long enclosure with a heat pad on one end. The ambient temperature of the room stays around 76 degrees and the humidity in the upper 50s.

Any suggestions welcome,
Scott
