I've got a five-lined skink that layed an infertlie egg. Is this common in this species. I know Iguanas and some other lizards, will lay without being bred and they come out infertile. Just wondering.

Never had one Quig, but I have a lot of other species and yes, many will lay eggs if there is no male present and they are just infertiles.
But... how long have you had her? Some will retain sperm and have fertiles if they were with a male in the last couple months.

PHEve / Eve
Hi Eve, I caught her wild last fall so it's been almost a year now. Shares a tank with a Grey tree frog
. I expected as much Eve, I just had never witnessed it with five-lineds. It was only the one egg and it was late in the season. Been out trying to find her a boyfriend now that I know for sure it's a female
.
