People always say that iguanas poo in a certain area but mine seems to go where ever he feels he is still a juvinal about 3 or 2 months old now. can some one point me in the right direction?

i have a small water bowl on his mid lvl shelf if he wants a drink and a 14"X14"X7" on the bottom of the cage with about 4 inches of water in it and she goes in there all the time no where else but in the water bin

well i have my water on the other side of the tank maybe i should move the water to where his hide box is and thats at the end of his log.

It's a ritual, every morning about 10AM I take him out to the lawn. He stretches, spreads out in the sun for 10 minutes and then does his potty thing. Then I take him to his big outdoor cage for the day, and give him breakfast. At sunset we go potty again and he comes in for the night. I live in an apartment and have a dog, so they go at the same time. It keeps me from having to clean up feces. He will not poop in his cage. He'll escape first.
