Whats with the corn snake forum?
We used to be either first or second on the top 10 forums by posts. Now we are 6th!!
Where is everyone?????

I used to have to check the forum daily to keep up. Now I could probably go half the week without checking and not miss anything.

Is everyone done with hatching yet?

This forum has been dead for a couple/few years now....

Admittedly, I only have the time to check this forum a couple times a week.

If I had time, maybe I'd spend hours and hours on that 'other' site. And I wouldn't feel so far out of the loop....genetics, new combo morphs, etc.

Is the other site a wealth of information?
Certainly...

Do I have the time needed to browse and take in all of the various threads and sub-forums?
Certainly not....lol

Since I can neither re-structure my life or get 28 hours out of a day, I'm left sitting outside the loop....

Sitting outside the loop and wondering which Corn morph is being debated as a hybrid this week....lol

All my first clutches are done. 83 healthy babies total. Got about another month for my 2nd clutches.

Although I mainly breed California Kingsnakes....I still have a few corns left...and I check in here to see some "new stuff"...and it's been really slow this year.

I've never been a major contributor to this forum, but I sure do lurk here a lot. My only real interest is Okeetees, so unless it's a snake with fatty saddle borders, I typically have nothing to say or dont bother to drop into threads.

Maybe the corn craze has lost a little of it's growth momentum and it's leveling off.

You guys are torturing me, ON PURPOSE hehehe, I'm sure of it...
Nice snake by the way ( I say with some difficulty )

I was hoping to get some from Ted Thompson this fall or whenever he gets some eggs, but now that I have the woma, most of my "projects" are kind of on hold due to a recent marriage contract amendment LOL !

Here's my male. I really should get much better pix....

I spend most my time on other cornsnake forums. Seems like the conversation is a bit more advanced

You can find more information on genetics and the newest morphs but unfortunately there is a lot more of the elitist garbage to wade through on one of the others.
I frequent a couple of other corn snake sites but this is the one I prefer for the simple camaraderie.
I like to come here for the pleasure of talking to other people with the same hobby. Here you don't have to have the most snakes, or all the latest morphs or the most expensive snakes you just need to enjoy the hobby and enjoy conversing with people who enjoy the same.
Now, this isn't to say I don't enjoy the same on the other forums, I have good friends on them as well. There is just too much of the "I know more then you" crap on one of them and the other isn't really much busier then this one.
