Is there a genetic marker for clown's ?

If there is it's sporadic.

On the VPI Breeders Bragging Post there was a thread years ago where Tracy Barker commented on a couple odd looking possible het clowns. As I remember they where sort of classic jungle like with bright colors and odd head/eye markings. But I also know some people who produced a fair number of hets with a single clown and didn't report any tendency of the hets to be different than normals. So if being het clown does ever show it might be pretty rare.
