Peachies

I just got two new very young peachthroats and got them set up with some heat and places to hide last night. Today I picked up 20 adult crickets and threw them in to see if they would eat since one looked a little sluggish.
The two little guys jumped up faster than I could see and tore through those crickets in less than 30 seconds! Sometimes grabbing more than one at a time as if the one in front of them would get away while they were chewing. It was awesome to watch how stealth and quick they were. Definately a reminder of why I love monitors so much. Their personalities came alive. So off to the store I went to buy 40 more crickets. No problem, they took care of those as well. Very excited for this new adventure.

He's quite a looker! Have you had any success breeding them?

My female lays eggs but my nesting sucks. I hope to get it down though.
