Just a thanks to the colubrid venders

BillMcgElaphe Aug 20, 2007 04:18 PM

Kind of hokey, but I just wanted to say “thanks” to some of you venders at Daytona who had Rat Snakes of any kind, including Corns.
My 10 year old Grandson said it all as he went from table to table and moaned, “anotherone that's Ball pythons and Boas… I’m bored.”
Although, many booths were overwhelmingly Ball Pythons and Boa Constrictors, ad nauseum, there were enough Rat Snakes (IMHO) mixed in to at least keep it interesting.
This included some regulars on this forum, and to you folks I say:
THANKS.

I'm sorry I got distracted or something..I wanted you and your son to have at least one baby 'glades.. I had them under the table I think when you came by and hadn't checked them out yet.
Great to see you there!

Thanks for the offer Mark.
I think things were working up to a frenzy when we came by and I had to get my grandsons back to south Florida.
My mountain salamander herping offer still stands if you get up to the southern appalachians.
Take care.

I couldn't make it this year, so I hope you got something neat so I can vicariously enjoy the experience!

Hey Bill,
Didn't get your e-mailed cell number until we got back from the show. Probably passed right by you. You were probably even the guy who accidently knocked my Pepsi outa my hand...
We picked up a couple blondes & grey bands at Lee's table. Then a couple more grey bands & Uros & thayeri & after that it was all a blur.
Sorry we missed you.
D&L.
