woodpecker brings down western slope

I work at an internet service provider in colorado, and i couldn't spend the day reading posts on kingsnake because of a woodpecker. http://www.9news.com/news/article.aspx?storyid=75789 just about everyone in western colorado gets their internet thru qwest, and one of their main fiber lines was damaged at 8 am. we are finally back up now, so we called qwest for the story and they told us that it appears that the damage was done by a woodpecker. i thought that was funny, cuz thousands of people couldn't trade stocks or download copious amounts of porn today because of one little woodpecker.

haha that's pretty funny. Man I would love if something like that happened around here, but Kansas isn't very good for random occurrences like that.
