I know that's not exciting to you seasoned herpers, but lately I've been trying something new with my snakes. When I notice they're cloudy, I just mist the top of the cage with a spray bottle once a day, moisture sticks to the grating in the top and to the inside of the tank. I never had luck with moist, mossy hides and stuff.

But today, while I was watching, Belle shed completely in one perfect piece! I watched how she started it on her nose. Then from eye caps to the tip of her tail I watched the whole thing come off. What cool animals they are.

Anyway, that's it. Just kind of a special thing for me still...

You know, I think part of it is, when the shed is perfect or the appetite is good or she moves from warm to cool side, whatever, I feel like I'm providing a good environment for her. So there's some pride there too.

that is one BRIGHT gbk.

She's one of the jewels of my collection, which is mostly zonatas and gray bands. What bright gbk wants bright gbk gets, lol.
