my chuck had to go to the vets 2 weeks ago to have an egg removed ,all wet well, she seemed fine untill this morning. i usually wake her up when the lights go on so she is the first to warm up and feed ,but when i got her up thismorning her stiches had split open and her insides are hanging out .is there any reason for this?

yes she was in a viv on her own . i think she might have worn them away .i had no substrate only a rock for over a week then i looked at the wound and it looked healed so i put sand back in there a couple of days ago then i found her .
unfortunatly she has died a couple of hours after the vet had put her back together. rip

Wow! Thats a shame, maybe like Tom said bad stitch job, maybe she caught a loose one on a rock or something and started to pull out ! Hope she will be okay ! :0) Eve
