I am still “less active” than I would like to be and grumpy I missed Daytona this year but I finally got around to taking a few bad to mediocre photos.
A couple from the first clutch…

Here are some new pics of the Highlighter Orange male … Hypo? He’s a chow hound too.

A nice clutchmate (unsexed still)

This one is in shed but the belly is unusually dark, I don’t think I have seen one quite this dark, especially from this pair

Formerly “Never Enough Reptiles” but, I messed up and neglected to register the domain name or file as a business under that name. Since we are just small Hobbyists, I really didn’t think of protecting the name we have used for the last five years. Someone else is now Never Enough Reptiles LLC. And has a web site under that name. We did not move to Louisiana and we are no longer posting under that name.

Nice Yellow male, if you like yellow (and an eating machine, the way I like them).

I actually thought this was in focus when I took it, my eyes are the problem…LOL

I got some interesting babies from crossing an Applegate Splotched/stripped SInaloan with a high red Albino from my Patternless line. Sorry for the really fuzzy pics.
Almost a stripped one, this is a keeper (unsexed)

Another stripe x albino

An yet another, the least aberrant of eight.

A few from The Patternless Nelson’s(s) Parents
Wanabe Patternless (again, sorry for the fuzzy pics, I gotta wear my glasses next time).

A HIGH White one

A nice red tail (tail is hidden).

Last but not least…

A Tangerine Albino Hondo. These are huge babies and ate large fuzzy/small hoppers for their first meals! Big difference from Thayeri babies.

I kept his spotted brother from 2005 and an abberant orange brother from 2006 that is almost as bright as this guy. That's enough brothers (for now).

The brothers:

Rick, those are some fantastic animals!

RussBates Aug 21, 2007 08:52 PM

Rick,
Those are really nice. I too produced some really smokin orange leonis this year that look alot like yours. Congrats.

How's retirement treating you?

Russ

rick millspaugh Aug 22, 2007 04:39 PM

Retirement hasn't been a bowl of cherries yet. Once I get through some of this medical stuff (caused from my wild Navy Career...) it should get better. I am looking to buy that Pet store and get it back on track (taking care of the animals). I did just pick up a female Cinn Ball (that I really don't have room for) dirt cheep.

Rick,

You've certainly out-done yourself this year with some exceptional animals! Well done man!!!!

It's amazing how "beat-up" you are at the end of the military career...I know I'll have a few "issues" to police up later on as a result of serving Uncle Sam...Good Luck and I wish you the best...

Daytona was great fun...I hope you'll go next year...I'm missing it already and it's only been a few days! Bummer!

Later,
Jim.

well sorry to hear that. Hope you do get that pet store...that would be fun. My ball python collection has topped out at:
1 hypo male
1 het hypo female
1 pastel male
Mojave pair
3 fancys

They are all great eaters on rats. Thayeri season was pretty productive this year too. I've just got to get them photographed a little better than I currently have on my photobucket site.

25 years sitting between two jet engines and they tell me I have a significant hearing loss as though I was surprised (LOL). The same 25 years jumping out of Helicopters and lugging 100’s of pounds of junk and they want to know when and how I broke my neck; how the heck do I know. But all in all, I wouldn’t have done it for 30 years if I wasn’t having fun. The worst part about being laid up right now is I am going to miss one of the best Tuna fishing seasons in years! Hopefully I will be up to a few tuna battles in a month or so. As for the Balls, I have collected too many of the dang thangs, there are soooo many combinations etc. that they are like chubby corn snakes. They grow at amazing rates though, even faster than Hondurans.

what the heck has been holding you back? That No-black male is awesome and that 2007 holdback female is killer too.

You need to change your name to "Orange anyone"? Or how about "Never enough Orange".

We want more pics, (even if they are a little out of focus).

I like never enough orange... it works for the wife's bearded dragons too but not all the milks (or boas, or balls, or ...)

Some of the pics are a lot out of focus, I chuckled to myself when I opened them up on the computer because I could have sworn most were perfectly focused when I took them.

Very cool babies! I really like that yellow one. The 07 holdback female has a cool bull head pattern on her noggin.

I like that, I was thinking some butterfly thing. Her yellow brother is my wife's favorite too, I get a few every year but always seem to hold back the bright guady colored ones (could be my simple mind).

From the past...
