these plastic planter saucers come in small - X large sizes,
in several colors at wal-mart's garden center. The bottom
is wider than the top (like a low volcano) so it's not tipped
even if your tort climbs into it - or over it or through it
like they do. I've used these in different sizes all the
time for Teddy. Right now he's got the biggest size this is
an old pic. of a medium one.

zab - I'm glad your tort turned out OK, thanks for your concern
for Teddy, but I think his fanning is a male release he tends
to do occasionally. He doesn't do it constantly, maybe it just
seems that way since I do post the pics - of which I only have
gotten 3 times in 4 years. Maybe for fun (fun for the X-ray tech)
I'll get a pic of him one time (only $30 I think) I don't want
to X-ray him unnecessarily because I think they're harmful.
