Hi All,
Well heres the last pic for my favorite hondo. Back on april 1st, when i took my snakes out of brumation, I waited 3 days after they were at their regular temps before attemtping to feed them all. Well I put all their food in their cages and checked back in the morning-(I feed f/t) and found her dead, no signs of death or anything. But those are the chances we take when keeping live animals. I spent 3 years raising her up and was excited about breeding her this year. Well I just wanted to post her pic one more time.

Hey Jason,
I saw a female the other day on the classifieds that pretty close to her, they wanted 1k I think. I passed, I thought about it though, I just liked her alot. She was a great snake, always ate-(even in shed) and was calm for a hondo, even as a hatchling, I think thats the only hatchling hondo besides an albino I had that wasnt crazy. Got any patagonia pyros yet ?

look at that picture again...she sure looks gravid, NOT like an animal just out of brumation, and the swelling is low towards the cloaca, not mid-body as if she was in early stages of ovulation. any chance those were retained eggs from '02? I've seen it happen.

Hey Terry,
I'm almost positive she didnt have any eggs in her. She wasnt even hibernated before '02, and she was to small to be ovulating also. If so, that would be a first for me, I havnt had a snake ovulate with out a cooling period.
