All schweet stuff, Toby! How's the flippin' been lately?

Thanks Todd. Flippin' is mostly millions of anurans lately!LOL It's been an awesome year for the frogs and toads, and I've never seen so many Texas toads, but in some areas like parts of Robstown/Banquete they are giving the gulf coast toads a run for their money. I have seen a couple ribbons, a large DOR oaxaca and some rough greens as far as snakes go.

Always glad to see the meahlly's. I think you are one of only two people on this site who post's pics of them. BTW, how are they coming a long?
Thanks! The meahllies are doing pretty well. They have all shed, are nice and chunky and seem to have darker dorsal blotches than my previous clutches using a different male. Out of twelve, nine are feeding on f/t and three have refused, so I'm going to try live on them. I'll probe them probably this weekend.

I see a load of GC toads and spadefoots at the river at San P{atricio, seems the river is the boundary and divides the two species. Weird to see a ton of GC's and then all spadefoots as you cross the river.

Hey Todd, even though I live right on the River, I rarely herp the San Patricio side. In my neighborhood, (Nueces side of the river), I see Gulf Coasts and occasional Texas toads. I have also seen lots of green toads this year in Robstown, some of which look a lot like Couch's spadefoots. I have not seen any spadefoots this year, yet, but I know that there is a thriving population of them at the airport.
