My little w. hoggie (pics)

FunkyRes Aug 22, 2007 01:54 AM

Hi - my main focus is kings but I was offered an '07 female W Hoggie as part of my share of a breeding loan (MBK) - and I just couldn't refuse.

I probably won't post here much, but she's an absolute darling - with an attitude - and I just thought I had to share pics.

She's very aggressive when first handled - she hisses like a large wild Pituophis a strikes quite a bit, more than any snake I've ever owned - but it seems to all be bluff as she has had numerous opportunities to actually tag me and has not done so.

Anyway - that's her, and she's a real darling of a snake.
Good feeder too. She doesn't like to eat in front of me, but if I leave the room and come back, she has a lump and the meal is gone (f/t fuzzies)

Good looking Western. They're awesome snakes. I have a western male, and am trying to get a green phase female.
