dinodon Aug 22, 2007 05:03 AM

New to Mexicana. I not sure what sub species they are ?
Plese help I've been collecting kings for years, but these are my first Mexicanas, infact the first I've seen in the eight years, I've been living in Taiwan. They are both fems, so I hope I can find a mate for them.
Thanks

Congrats on your mexicanas. I think you'll find them to be a very interesting king snake species to work with even if you only have one. What's the snake trade like in Taiwan?

Thanks for the wecome.
The reptile trade is picking up, in Taiwan, Most animals are imported so the prices are very high, I have noticed the prices have droped a lot in the past 2 years, more people getting in on the act, but I still find it hard to pair up all my animals, I have alo of single animals, that I can't find mates for, or the pirces of the snakes I want are just crazy. I had a few clutches hatch this year and have been trading to build my collection, and sold a few to fill my freezer with mice.
Thanks for the interest.

They look like Thayeri from the pics but, it is very hard to say for sure without knowing where they originated from

Formerly “Never Enough Reptiles” but, I messed up and neglected to register the domain name or file as a business under that name. Since we are just small Hobbyists, I really didn’t think of protecting the name we have used for the last four years. Someone else is now Never Enough Reptiles LLC. And has a web site under that name. We did not move to Louisiana and we are no longer posting under that name.
