Due to just having our third child I could not make it down to Daytona this year.. But, a friend of mine was there and he picked me up this awesome pair of Granite Alterna..

I have never seen these available before and don't really know much about them..

Any info on these animals would be helpful..

Thanks,

~ Mike Russo

Black Gap descendants, perhaps?

No matter where they are from, they are awesome!!!

Hey Mike -

I know exactly who they came from, I was looking at two others he had. They didn't have any locale info that I know of, he told me it was a line project, breeding specifically for that trait. I will be seeing them again next month at the Tampa show. If he still has the two others I saw, I might have to get in on it. That second one you got is really nice! (Well, obviously they both are)

SICK em Stev O SICK EM!!!! This "granite alterna" thing kills me!!! It must be a yankee thing!! This dude from Michigan is probably the guy that was selling these. I had a friendly little chat with him while in Daytona about localities. Of course, this does not take away from the fact it's a fine looking animal of course.
