Why do some Ghosts look like Charcoals and Ghosts look Lav!?!

This stuff is really ticking me off, everytime I think I know what something looks like I see a variation that throws me.

Is there a good site out there with a nice big table of what stuff is SUPPOSE to look like?

Want to see a Lav colored ghost and charcoal, look at some of Kathy Love's pics on her website, I'm just so confused.
