My new guys!

Hey gang! I got my 2 beardies today! They're sooooo cute! They're rescues, though, so they're sooo scrawny it breakes my heart. But I'll spoil 'em! Here they are:

This is Albus. He's got one hand missing, and one eye. I can already tell he has such a sweet disposition. Gotta fatten him up, though!

And....

This is Minerva *Minnie*. She is feisty! Right out of the box, she took off running and never looked back! lol

Wow can they eat! I let them eat all the crix they wanted yesterday, and I swear they went thru 300 between the 2 of them. They had round lil tummys after!

I kinda get why Albus is so skinny tho. With his one eye, his aim is terrible! It takes him soo much longer to eat. He tries and tries tho...melts my heart. I sat there for 2 hours yesterday, helping him see them and making the crickets do the "death march" toward his good eye. lol I don't mind at all, but I was wondering if worms may be easier for him. Any suggestions?

Then there's Minnie. lol She ate so good for me, but man, she is sooo feisty. Oh my goodness! I tried to give her a drink yesterday and she puffed up to twice her size, beard black, and gaped so big at me lol (Bindy's never done this)Sheesh! Gotta calm that gal down! Again, any suggestions?

Thanks, guys! I sure appreciate y'all!

Worms are always a positive addition to any dragons diet. But, I wouldn't go with 100% of any one kind of worm.

My little handecapped dragon can catch some crickets even though she can hardly walk. She just uses the sit and wait strategy. I think yours will get better with time. Most adult dragons only poop once a day. After he poops you can just leave the crickets in until bedtime. With 3 dragons 100 silkworms would be a good investment.

hi
put youre beardie in corner then she wil catch them easier.
what i always do with cricks is this ,that make is easy to.
i take a plasic box put the cricks in it .
then 1,2 min in freezer.
look every 20 sec ,and if the legs just start not to move any more then you dustend them.
and trow them in the corner where youre beardie is.
then they come alive very slow and thye r more easy to catch.

that smile is for you i know how it feels i take once a while also beardie to mine home when i see them to long in petshop .
but you cant resqeu all beardie i wish it whas trough .
i always help people but i do it more for the beardie
