Help sexing dragon B?

CaptainJWL Aug 22, 2007 10:15 PM

As mentioned in my post prior to this one I am looking for help in sexing my BD's. Here is the info I know about this bearded dragon. *I refer to both of them as him/he/guys.

This BD is the slower growing of the two at 10 inches compared to the other at 14 inches. They are both about 4-5 months old. He is usually skittish and is certainly less dominant when around the other. When i put them both together the other dragon quickly ate the remaining crickets in this ones cage, ate some of his greens then proceeded to rush and headbutt him off his perch. Then later even stood on top of him in the sand on the ground.. When they were together this guy did some head-bobbing (not sure if it was in reaction to or initiated by him cause they were both head-bobbing) then he arm waved at him once and when i put them together again the next night he arm waved again (and i caught it on camera!). Enough talking, here are the pics!

Any ideas?

Thanks all!

I really wouldn't put the dragons together at all until they are full grown. You are really torturing the smaller one. And stress is a major contributor to illness. Kinda like throwing a geek in a prison cell with the class bully.

I just looked at the picture again and it looks like this dragon is missing part of its tail. Is that true?

Full tails on both of em. Funny thing is they both have itsy bitsy kinks about a 1/4 inch from the tip as if both of em got a little chomp on each other. They have had it since they used to live together originally and I always expected it to fall off but nope.

-I will keep em apart from each other from here on out.
Thanks B.
