humidity & ornates

kingsnake1 Aug 23, 2007 07:59 AM

I live along the Texas Gulf coast. How much of a problen is the relatively high humidity here for ornates? I currently have 3-toeds, but since ornates are from drier climates, will they be able to acclimate?

It shouldn't be a problem at all. Wild Ornates are most active at dawn when the ground is still damp with dew and humidity is at the highest level of the day. They still look for humid places to hide/dig in during the hot, dry part of the day.
