Your in for some great times!
Jobiensis are my favorite species, so much in the way of behavior and BEAUTY!!

I bred them way back when, now I'm working with an awesome group of 5. 1.1 adults and 1.2 sub-adults.

My adults have been breeding over the last month, breeding has recently ceased. I am hopefull the results will be eggs.
I have some great video of the matings and I'll post the when I figure out how to.

How's dings?
I will be adding a new nesting option for these guys.
I'll keep you posted on the way things turn out.

Good Luck to both of you's!

Mike,

Glad you saw the post...I knew from some of your previous posts that you had a group of them. I've had them for less than a week and have had a blast observing them. Those little guys freakin tear through crickets! Surely that won't last for long though.

Good luck with your breeding, I wish you lots of success. Hopefully I will be able to join in with the success in a year or two. I would definitely like to talk to you more about them. You live in Florida, no? I'm currently in the Tampa area.

Jeff
I'm always glad to help where I can.
I raised my juvies to almost adult in a few months, they are eating machines!

Try giving them some pinkies and they will grow right before your eyes.

Some folks say they are a bit shy, I have never had any that were shy...after a brief acclimation. Food is just to important to them and you can see they want to dart off, but that hanging rodent is just to tempting. LOL!

I live in IL.

Mike,

Not sure why I thought you lived in Florida! Guess I can't read as well as I thought. I don't have any pinkie mice, all I have are rat pinkies and they don't seem to interested in them(or maybe the person offering them). Maybe Ill cut one open and see if that will get them moving.

They definately seem shy, but also very curious. They are out wandering around most of the day and then hide later on.

What substrate are you using for yours?
