Hi, I have a 05 pair of CRB's and was wondering what weight you guys feel safe for breeding?

Any tips would be great.

Tarentola,
..Welcome to the forum. I used to breed Colombian Rainbows. I think around 2.75 pounds is a safe breeding weight for females. Males probably only need to be around 2 pounds. A weight of 2.75 pounds probably coincides with a length around 4.25 to 4.5 feet for a healthy female maurus but as you probably know they are really tough to measure. This subspecies has often been bred at 18 months to lay babies at two years of age so yours can certainly be considered mature for this coming season.

Perfect, mine are more then ready then.

I'm feeding them heavily right now and soon am going to drop the temperature and lower the humidity. And in 1 month or 2 raise it back up.

Thanks for the help.

....and that's lots of babies that will make Dave's BRB collection seem miniscule.
