First Shed

On August 18 I noticed that my ball's eyes had clouded over, so I have been doing only necessary handling for cleanup from then until today (August 23). I tried to keep the tank above 60% humidity but it didn't always stay (never dropped below 50%). However, today when I checked his hide for progress, there were over 10 pieces of skin, and her head and a piece on the tail have yet to come off. I know that until the snakes get the hang of it, they often have trouble shedding in one piece (true?). So my question to you is whether or not I did anything wrong during the process. Also, i would like to know what do do about the skin not yet shed.

No matter what age they should be able to get it all off. I would spritz the tank next time get the humidity up to at least 80% when shedding, or make a humid when going into shed that also helps. I know some will not go in them though. As far this skin goes I would soak the snake for about 20 min, luke warm water. then get a towel wet but not dripping and put it around the snake and let it rub and move under it that will help get off.

I spray with a water bottle to help with shedding.
Spray once a day after there eyes go clear.........Usually will shed within 3-5 days
