Apparently the amel blondes from that same line with the missing frontal scale have the scale intact. Of course, the River Road line of albinos is normally scaled. The Loma Alta and European amels have the scale missing on most of the animals.

I didn't get a pic, but I bought one of the littermates...a beautiful normal that is possible het for snow.
