Quick question

pixie343 Aug 23, 2007 08:25 PM

What are the bugs called that have really high calcium levels. I think they are pheonix worms or something like that. Also if you guys know of a place that I can get them shipped to me for a good price that would be a big help.

That's one...butter worms are supposed to be high in calcium too I think. I never use either as feeders....just a personal decision.

I believe that silk worms are also good feeders.

Butterworms are higher in calcium than many other feeders, but like many larva are also higher in fat. Pheonix worms are similar. I use butterworms from time to time primariy because I think variety is good for and enjoyed by my chams.
www.canadianfeeders.com is one supplier in Canada, and they are also available at my local pet store and at fishing bait shops.
