This is the JCP I mentioned in a previous post. She hatched out 4/30 and didn't accept her first meal until 8/12. Got a pic of her tonight after she shed. Not looking too bad for one meal in nearly 4 months!

yeah she doesnt look to bad at all. one of mine has only been offered one meal so far since 7-13 cause she just shed like a week or so ago lol i couldnt balieve it every1 else shed within about 14 days roughly and this one took forever. next week i get to try and feed the non feeders again. and try and swap out live for F/T for my two live feeders

Yeah, a Retic breeder friend of mine asked how soon they shed after hatching, so I told him 13 to 80 days. "At least they're consistent", he said.

This same snake just devoured an unscented f/t rat pink. After 4 months, she's right in step with the others...barely missed a beat!

PHEW!

Funny, because my JCP just inhaled a rat pup for me the day before yesterday after not eating for almost 2 months I think!

A couple husbandry adjustments on my part to give the snake what it wants, and WHAM! Thanks FR- you the man!
