I changed the substrate in my boa's enclosure yesterday and found her to have burrowed in it this morning. In the 6 months that I've owned her she's never done that before. The bedding is somewhat deeper than it has been before. Is this normal behavior?

nothing to worry about...my small boas do it sometimes...but the larger ones use their hides...

Nothing wrong with it. It provides security. Just make sure that your boa does not swallow the bedding when you feed it.
