It's about time! Hatchlings!!

Man the wait was long this year. My first clutch hatched last weekend. Kinda of a bummer on the phenotype ratios. Tangerine albino bred to het for albino and what hatches out of seven eggs? Six tri-color hets and one albino. Oh well. I'm just glad things are starting to hatch. My next clutch is already starting to poke their noses out and that's 12 hypos.

Nice Rob. I'm like you, I have just under a hundred hondo eggs and have not had ONE to hatch yet. Randy

I've got about 75 in the incubator now (including the 26 black milk snake eggs). I can't figure out why I'm so late every year. It doesn't seem to matter when I bring them out of the cold they still lay around the same time. The only difference this year is thye seem to be entering their second clutch cycles much sooner.

Incidently, the clutch hatching today is a dozen hypos fathered by the male I bought from you four years ago. They look awesome. One is a great vanishing pattern and the rest are all real nice pinbands with some vanishing pattern to them. I'll post pics later.

It's good to hear he's doing the job. Post pics when you can. Randy W.
