My Daytona Finds

Beaker30 Aug 24, 2007 08:09 PM

Since sharing pics of Daytona finds seems to be the thing to do, I thought I'd join in. Here are the thayeri I found.

Open saddled male with a cool head pattern from Alec Estabrooks at Peace River Herps:

Unrelated Reduced pattern female with a cool gray head:

Neither one had taken their first meal yet, but both took a F/T small pink today.

Burnt orange and brick red female Abbott line from Tim Thomas:

Female Buckskin with bowties on the first third of her body, again Abbott line from Tim T:

Metallic green female from Mitch Allen. It doesnt show well in the pic, but her green looks almost like foil paper. She has cool speckling on her snout too:

She took a F/T small pink for a first meal today also.

This girl comes from a Bill Scmiedecke male and a Mike Thorn female pairing. I liked her alternating pattern of saddles and twin dots. She also has a rose-pink hue to her:

This girl has a cool broken band/spotted pattern and a gray head:

And lastly, a cool molten orange pin banded female Abbott line...sadly, she is already an escapee:

I also got a pair of axanthic splendida from Don Shores, and an albino Japanese Rat from Brian at BHB. I havent taken pics of them yet. Hope you enjoyed the pics.

that looks like a Mitch Allen snake. His always had that look and I remember the first time I saw them on a table in Louisianna...I had to have one. That animal now resides with Mr. Bob Hansen. I also remember trading him for the snake...one of my yellow leonis for his grey "silver streak".

Craig,

Way to go man! You acquired som VERY nice Thayeri to sooth your Thayeri addiction...for the time being. Ha! Ha! Thanks for the photos of them..don't forget to post your "new" desert kings...they were very nice as well...

Speaking of Bill Schmiedecke...my friend and I acquired these animals for our Brooksi project. The first one is a Hypo-Male, the second one is a Hypo-Female and the third one is a "normal" male...

Later,
Jim.

Craig,

Your photos of them look even better than I remembered at the show when you showed them to me...judging from some of the comments from the KS folks...you did very well to say the least my friend!

Later,
Jim.
