littlefilly Aug 24, 2007 10:43 PM

I was wondering if it is normal for her head, leags and tail to change color? Is she getting ready to she?
Any info would be appriciated. Couldn't find any info in my books on it.
Thanks

yes , it is normal for beared dragons to change colour ,
they often as B22 said shed becoming grey in different part of there body ( feet ,legs , n head normaly shed start to turn grey first ...
mist them and soak them helps there shed to come of nicely .
and usually after there shed they are a bright color depending on morph .
some beared dragon;s will get more bright everytime they shed

i have a beared dragon who i got for free she was grey and a runt they told us .. but she started to eat and shed and just became pretty ..
heres a picture of her . grey to redish orang ecolor's
shes a citrus x red citrus

The only thing is, is that she is not turning grey. It almost looks like her color has left her head, arms, legs and tail. It looks really pale compaired to her back which looks like it always does. I have seen her shed before but I haven't seen her do this.
She has a great appitite and eats all her crickets as many as she can eat but doesn't eat hers greens like she should.
She is a citrus. I swear her head, legs, arms and tail look pink.

Thanks

only other thing i could think of is maybe she is stressed out or mad ?..
but you said shes eating so maybe shes just being moody or ? maybe shes just losing some color ..
nothin to be worried about ? as of what i know unless shes being stressed out ,
