My Triangulum, Triangulum wouldn't leave me alone, I guess he couldn't resist easy food. But in allot of states it is a touchy subject, in PA almost if not every animal that is indigenous to the area must have a permit and I'm not positive but is also illegal for sale.
I may be wrong but some one please correct me if so, I have been wondering about this since I was young. Like I said I do love Eastern Milks more than just about any other. Well next to Hog nose.LOL
Actually as sad as it is PA does have laws against owning indigenous species...
Well you are allowed having two of each kind of snake in PA but not allowed selling the ones you caught but I'm not sure if your allowed selling the babies if you breed them because the babies would be CB. Except Rattlesnakes and Northern Smooth Green Snakes.

As of January 1, 2007, a possession permit is required to possess a live reptile or amphibian that is in compliance with
possession limits effective as of December 31, 2006, but not in compliance with possession limits effective on January 1,
2007. This is required for continued possession for the remainder of the reptile or amphibian’s life. This is a one-time
permit and an application must be submitted no later than June 30, 2007. A permit is required for continued possession
regardless of the animal’s origin. A separate permit shall be obtained for each reptile or amphibian and shall be kept at
the location where the animal is held. Upon request, the permit shall be presented to an officer authorized to enforce the
code. Permittees shall comply with the terms and conditions of the permit. It is unlawful to alter, borrow or lend a permit
under 58 Pa. Code § 79.4.
The permit is specifically for the reptile or amphibian described in the application and may not be transferred to another
animal. Upon the death of the animal, the permit is null and void. The permittee is required to comply with all appropriate
standards of care for the animal regarding housing, sanitation, temperature, food, water and veterinary care. The animal
for which the permit is issued may not be bred or offered for sale. If a permittee gives a reptile or amphibian covered by a
permit under 58 Pa. Code § 79.4 to another person, the permit may be transferred to the new owner upon completion of
an application on the form provided by the Commission, surrender of the original permit and payment of the appropriate
fee.
