Wow Mike! Those are nice! Also, killer pics as well!!
I always say I have enough alterna but seeing pics like this gets me thinking...maybe I should get one more!!! LOL!

Are these babies locality or generic or ? Either way, I love the orange saddle that you can see on the emerging baby shown.

Take care!

Thanks Billy,

These are Loma Alta locality animals.. The female only gave me 5 eggs.. But, they are almost double the size of all of my other alterna eggs and they are by far the largest Alterna eggs i have ever seen..

i am curious to see how big the babies are compaired to my other GBK hatchlings???

So it looks like they will be the blairs phase right? Very cool!! Every Loma Alta alterna I have ever seen was more a speckled and " alterna-phase " type animal.

Post a pic of one of your Loma Alta babies next to another baby from another clutch to compare size. That would be interesting to see!!

I guess this is kinda off topic, but looking at your pics--and across the room at my own yearling GBK--it makes me wonder how anyone can see one of these creatures and fear them or think they are evil.
Great pics!
