Genetic Jungle type. . . . pics

This turned out to be a neat little "dinking" project. I got this girl as an import ball years ago and like a bunch of other snakes...I never bred her before. So I put her to a normal male just to see what happens. . .

Here is Mom

This pic was taken after she laid so thats why she looks a little rough.....

She laid 9 eggs and all hatched on Friday and much to my suprise I got 9 carbon copies to the adult female. All have the same swirly pattern, bright orange heads, light gold eyes and very pale bellies.

I will post some more pics post shed.

just as nice as mom is. Wow! They also look like they were fat little balls when they hatched . . . very nice clutch!

With these results...would that pattern be considered co-dominant or would you have to prove out the babies before saying that? I ask because I produced some reduced pattern babies from a reduced pattern to Mojave this year...I actually like the normals better than the Mojaves.

Mom looks sort of pastelish but I don't see anything special about the babies. Am I missing something?

I eat human infants. They, like everything else, taste like chicken. What?

perhaps it would be a good idea to post a picture of some of the babies with a normal or two in the bunch to compare?

Bristen.
