Mojave would have nothing to do with that project at all. If you want to get another morph I would recommend a Pinnstripe that way you can eventually make some Spinners, Lemon Blasts, Super Blasts, and Spinner Blasts

I do not see the Mojave as a great combo mutation, the pinstripe is a far better choice if you want to make some stunning animals!!!

pastel mojave are cool as are pastel lessers and you could also get a female lemon pastel to go with him....

......just buy one male and female of each co-dom then get an 8 foot x 4 foot cage and throw them all in there in November of 2009.......

might as well......they'll all be worth $200 and less by then.....?

right

Kevin, did that creepy knome knock you on your head? How can you put down the combo possiblities of the Mojave
The Hypo Mojave is awesome, the Super Pastel Mojave, stunning, the Crystal is still cool....now, I will agree with you that a Pin might be a better combo if you already have a Pastel and Spider, BUT, do not dog the Mojave man

Above was written in jest! Kind of!

Kevin, are you coming to Anahiem?

I love Mojaves and Pins... But im gonna go with Pins I think

I'm a boa breeder and just got into the Ball Python morphs about a year ago.

I suppose a spinner is a bumblebee X pinstripe. What is a lemon blast?

My ball collection consists of some really nice normal adult females, yellow belly male, granite female, yearling male spider, a pair of adult lemon pastels from NERD, a pair of 100% het albinos. Hoping to just get a pinstripe and albino soon.

With all these new morphs I wish someone would create a morph cook book of sorts.

Thanks,
Frank.

I think a Spinner is Spider x Pin. A Lemon Blast is Pin x Pastel, and a Spinner Blast is Spider x Pin x Pastel.

Hope this helps,
Shelly

Thanks for the help. I was checking out NERD's website and found some information with nice pics of many ball morphs. Man, all these names can be confusing. I think I'm just going to stick with mostly recessive morphs since they are my favorite.

Female cinnamon to make pewters. Maybe male ghost to hatch spiders het ghost and then honey bees down the road.

Kingofspades Aug 26, 2007 03:34 AM

Get an orange ghost...
go for the Honeybee.

how quickly you want to produce other morphs.

Your idea of a mojave is great - pastel mojaves are awesome and since mojaves are co-dominant you could produce them once your female mojave is up to breeding size. The pinstripe is also a great idea since they are co-dom and produce amazing combos.

I also like the idea of the orange ghost to make POGs and eventually honeybees, but those are long term projects since ghosts are recessive. First you would have to make pastel het ghosts, grow them up then breed them together for a POG (pastel orange ghost) or to a spider het ghost for honeybees. Another long term recessive project that produces amazing animals is the pastel clown!

You may want to check out some of the "newer" co-doms that are now on the market; fires, enchis, and the desert (not the desert ghost unless you want to get into recessives). They make very nice combos when bred to a pastel.

Good luck and tell us what you decide!

I think im gonna go with Pinstripe. They are beautiful and I really like Spinners. Does anyone have any pics of Spinner Blasts,Super Blasts,or Lemon Blasts?

Have you seen the fire pastel? well, imagine what a fire bumble bee would be like! Plus the bonus leucistic potential.
