but if thats the case I'm not quite shure what to call this guy? I'm glad I don't listen all that well. The next couple of pics are just for comparison to a normal (although smoking nice) whiteside. Enjoy!

He came from breeding a 100% het whiteside to a 100% het whiteside. Both of the het whitesides had a crumbly red bull parent. I have had a couple with hints pop up in the last couple of years, but he is much closer to the goal. The pics actually wash out a little of his color. Take care!

Its very cool regardless. You gonna keep it? Maybe breed it back to a Crumbly? It would be awsome to see one with a bright red back!!!

Thank you!! I am definately keeping him. I have quite a few hold backs over the last couple of years from different breedings. I have been working on this for a little over 5 years now. Originally the goal was to get a red backed whiteside. Somewhere along the line I let my vision get skewed by some who didn't think it could not be done. With that I started aiming for super clean whitesides and nice reds that were 100% het whiteside. This year makes me glad that I didn't just give up on the project all together! It remains to be seen how this guy developes, but it sure looks to be a huge step in the right direction. What does this mean the definition of a whiteside truly is? I'm not sure anymore. At one time it was thought to be anerythristic. I don't know now. I am pretty happy with this guy though without a doubt! I am really looking forward to the next couple of years! Take care and thank you for your kind words.
