i havent been to a MARS show in about 2 years. every time i went there was a gentleman who many typeseof asian rats. (dirrectlyto your left as soon as you walked in the door...i ALWAYS headed that way)

one of these types of rats he wlways sold in pairs. one was a het...and one was a calico.

i think he also sold albino radiated rats, and some beauty rats, etc.

i have forever wanted to get my hands on some of these snakes.

now some people maybe be thinking hat i havent provided enough information.....but i hope i have.

if i have given enough info could some please body email me,or just give me a list of asian rats that a a calico varient that doesnt seem to be viral like some of the corn snakes varients. i believe it was simple recessive trait ....and the were beautiful.....but i guess thats in the eye of the beholder.

the gentleman was a little older, and a fairly larrge banner behine his table, and the majoroty of the snakes where housed in deli cups.

while looking at some pictures i saw some calico beauties snakes for sale. now i dont believe these to be the snakes im looking for so again...please help.

I think you might be thinking of Prairieland Herpetoculture. That's the only vendor that consistantly has had that left hand cornerish spot after the artwork and raffle tables.

i don't think he has an active website anymore. the one link I had doesn't work anymore.

That's definatly Larry Keller your talking about. Good guy with some great snakes. Those calicos are taeniura taeniura or chinese beauty snakes. He was listing some ratsnake ads a couple weeks ago in the kingsnake classifieds. If you dont find him there you should be able to find him under a google search. If you dont find him send me a e-mail and I can probably find out for you. Randy W.
