Shedding problem, please help

js113 Aug 26, 2007 06:34 PM

I picked up a hatchling Sinaloan Milk a week ago, she was getting ready for a shed. She attempted to shed last night but there are several spots that didn't come off and she's very dry. She's dehydrated. I have helped many snakes shed over the years, but never anything this small and delicate. I soaked her in some water for about 45 seconds, she wasn't too fond of that. What's the best thing to do in a situation like this? Thanks.

Soak it in a deli cup overnight that usually works.

Problem solved, many thanks! It only took about 45 minutes and she was out of her skin.
