I have an apricot pueblan male and am looking for a mate for him. If I get a normal pueblan, what can I expect in the offspring? Is the apricot phase a recessive gene? Will the babies all be one or the other or could I get different looks?

The "apricot" color is NOT recessive. If you breed an apricot to a normal, you will get somewhat of an intermediate look, with some slight variations.
Here's one I had some years ago.

I really like the intense coloring. Did he/she keep that clean look or did it tip out?

Thanks!,....
I had a pair of these "gems" many years ago,and they stayed pretty darn clean as well. This was when they just came out and were way beyond the normal "apricot" coloration most people were used to seeing. Most ALL on the market in the country just couldn't compare with the animals a friend of mine had for sale!
He let me "cherry pick" through a big bucket of them at a show down in South Florida.....this dude had some really stunning stuff in his collection!
He got out of the business around 13-14 years ago, and sold some of the nicest animals in the country for CHEAP!!!
But I sold the pair a long time ago, Sort of wish I still had those,.....along with tons of other snakes I've owned!....You know how that goes!!!LOL
Anyway, take care,....and I'm glad you can appreciate an exceptional snake when you see it!
best regards, ~Doug

I so wish that I had never let them go..... Too many snakes, not enough space, time, or money. Sigh.

You will get a combination of apricots, whites and then some in between. If you're looking to get deep colored apricots, pick up another apricot as the apricot coloration of the offspring will be better with two apricot parents.
Good Luck,
