double het gopher results

Herpo Aug 26, 2007 08:58 PM

what I wound up with from a double het to double het annectans brdding was, from 12 eggs, 8 normal appearance, 1 hypo, 3 albino.
I'm not sure what would happen/have happened from a combination of the two genes but had to give it a try. Since they are both basicaloly a reduction of black pgment I really didn't expect anything new.
The photo is of the hypo baby.

John,

These have been produced for a few years now. The double recessive has been coined 'Dyergate' by Jason Envy. They really aren't remarkably different.
