I'd like to add a "green" Florida King to my collection, but I don't know what I should be looking for in the hatchlings that would indicate that the adult would have the greenish hue I'm looking for. Any suggestions?

I would say look for a good breeder...............my green brooksi (thanks rainer) didnt look green as a baby, no dif than any other i have seen but when it started to fade ............now she is one of my favs



if you get a male thats green and het for hypo we can maybe do a breeeder loan as im dreaming of a green hypo........


OK..... Rainer, how do you pick out your "green" Floridas?

The greens ones are from a line I picked up years ago. All my others don't turn green.

Those are kind of neat looking, I like the lower bandcount. They look like they've got some L.g.getula in the mix. Even the head pattern looks more like an eastern.
