Substrate consumation.

Is the only time snakes comsume any kind of substrate during acidental comsumption during feeding?

Unless a snake is ill, yes accidental consumption is the only time it will swallow substrate.

...yeah thats the only time they will consume the substrate....Unless you use rodents for cage substrate...LOL
