Proving out African stuff is fun!

I hatched some banded/reduced pattern animals last year from a very good looking/weird looking female that I raised from a farm hatched baby x pastel CB USA. They were nice. This year I bred a better Pastel to the same girl and I got some neat results.

For the first time I got very clean banded/reduced/tigerish siblings as well AND the entire clutch, pastels and "normals" all have a green ting to their coloration like many of the really nice reduced pattern/banded babies that come in From Africa.

I also now think that it may be co-dominant as the non banded animals two years straight have a couple marker traits. I will hopefully know much more next year as both animals pictured are males. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think. Sorry I am not much of a photographer.

Thanks very much. No big success stories for me this year but a couple victories.

Thanks Kevin. I hope it keeps that green hue for a while. E

Maybe if you take some pics of them on something black. I'm trying to teach myself photography so I'm no expert but it might bring out the bands more.
