is there any way to seperate two pieces of 1/4 inch acrylic that has been bonded together with the plastic adhesive? i got a few interesting things the other day but need to remove some of the thigns attached to it in order to turn into nice cage or somethign

If it's been solvent welded then there really is not a way that I know of to take it apart without cutting. If it's just a simple edge-joint then you can use thinner blades or router bits to make a cut with minimal waste. Still, I would only do this if it was real important.
