Well I went to my local Nature Sanctuary in Victoria yesterday and at the parking lot I saw a cat and when it saw me it moved away. When I looked down where it was there was a North Western garter snake with part of its tail missing but otherwise okay. The cat was still lurking so since I was near the Nature House I asked what to do with and I moved him nearby but still close enough to his original spot and where cat's definately don't go. I know you're supposed to put them back where you found them but I didn't want him eaten and he's close enough that I hope it's not a big deal,
