Hi guys

I recently rescued a 2 year old female from one of my kid brothers friends. I was wondering if there was a way to tame her and make her handable? I went to pick her up and got bit come to find out the kid who had her got her when she was very young and never handled her and she is very scared of people. I've tried to work with her and get her use to me and in some ways she has. I can put my hand in the cage and clean it as well as put food and move the water dish to clean it out,some days I can get 1 finger on her back and stroke her but others she freaks out as soon as I open the cage.any advise would be great thanks in advance

i went through the same thing. i got a regular pair of gardening gloves and held my dragon for about 1hr. for 2 weeks straight. i know it sounds crazy but it worked. if she seems to wiggle and try to get away hold both legs and both arms back(dont worry this doesnt hurt) she will come around to the point where u can hand feed her. i think from the front with you fingers scoop her up and let her sit for a while .
try to to pick up from above because they think they r birds /predators.
with the 3 eye they see the uvb/uva beams .
and when you got with youre hand above here head then the beams r been broking like a lazerbeam alarm .
have patience this can take half year before she is abit tame .
