O/T more rosy boas

miloradovich Aug 29, 2007 01:02 PM

Thought I'd share these recent additions here as well, just in case there are any rosy fans in the crowd.

I had two litters born yesterday, a first for me to have two rosy litters in one day. Top it off both contained two albinos and two hets.
The group on the left side is from an anery het snow male to an albino female produced in my first albino litter ever. These guys are all 100% het snow.
Right side group is from an albino het snow male to a DH female. No snows from her this year but got one last season. These babies are all 66% hets.
Still have a few more expectant rosy mothers including two more with snow genes that also proved out last year for me. I'll probably post pics of those guys too once they arrive.

Take care, Milo

Thanks, rosys are neat to work with, I love the variety that you can get. I have a couple of more females that have a chance a snows this year so I may just get one or two. (one of the females had two snows and two anerys last year.) The anerys are really what I want more of, I love the way they look.
Here is a pic of a group of 06's including a normal, albino, anery and snow. I've posted it before so you may have already seen the shot.

Milo I don't care for rosy's at all but I do enjoy the pics though but you could have thrown in a leopard pic for us to drool over. What are they on their second shed now? How was the honeymoon too?

Hey Bob,
you're right, i do need to get some updated pics of the leopards since they have shed a second time. They seem to be lightening up a bit since then too (still real dark though, but you can see a little more of the pattern). I tried the other day with a limited amount of time but I didn't like the way any of the shots came out. I'm not a big fan of taking pictures in the enclosers, so that could be why I didn't like them.

...honeymoon was great! We spent a week in Jamaica, perfect weather and got home to find out they were getting hit by a hurricane. Guess we left at just the right time. We had a nice and relaxing time although I think I drank a years supply of Red Stripe during our one week.
